Destyni Upton, CSWI
I am passionate about helping others navigate life’s challenges and discover their own strength. My background is in Behavioral Science, and I am currently pursuing a Master of Social Work degree at Utah Valley University. I have extensive experience working with adolescents, helping them develop healthy skills to engage with the world around them in meaningful ways. Using approaches like Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, I strive to create a supportive environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered.
I strongly believe in the power of self-determination and that every individual deserves to have a say in their own therapeutic journey. My approach is collaborative—I work closely with my clients to help them explore what treatment methods work best for them, ensuring they feel in control of their healing process. I love working with children, teens, young adults who are in transition,
Outside of my work, I love staying active and connected to nature. Hiking, exploring, and competitive horseback riding are some of my favorite ways to recharge. I also have a deep love for animals, enjoy reading, and cherish the time I spend with friends and family. Finding balance and joy in life is important to me, and I strive to help my clients do the same in their own way.
