Michael Cox, LCSW
Therapy is about growth, healing, and breaking free from the patterns that hold us back. I work with individuals struggling with eating disorders, anxiety, and sexual addiction, helping them navigate their challenges with compassion and practical strategies. My approach is collaborative—I believe real change happens when we work together, building understanding and developing the tools needed to create lasting progress. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, empowered, and capable of leading fulfilling lives.
I’ve spent years helping people on their journey toward healing, and my education has been an important part of that foundation. I earned my master’s degree in social work from Brigham Young University, but more than my education, it’s my experience working alongside my clients that has shaped the way I approach therapy. Every person’s story is different, and I’m committed to meeting each client where they are, providing insight, guidance, and encouragement along the way.
Outside of therapy, I try to practice what I encourage in others—finding joy, balance, and meaningful connections. I grew up in the Salt Lake City area before moving to Las Vegas as a teenager, and I’ve always loved adventure and creativity. I enjoy scuba diving, mountain biking, and using my 3D printer to create miniatures for Dungeons & Dragons. Just like in life, I believe therapy is about discovering new possibilities, finding strength in the process, and creating a future that feels fulfilling and true to who you are.
